There is no doubt, my fellow citizens, that an institution that has contributed the most to the progress, and even by leaps and bounds, of humanity is the European Union (EU) . With its monumental decisions , it changed the course of history . Let us mention a few characteristic examples , which personally shocked me, after of course omitting the insignificant ones , such as, for example, the strangulations of entire countries with memoranda .
First of all, there was this decision to abolish plastic and introduce paper straws , in an effort to keep the environment clean from pollution and pollutants . Personally, I rank it among those that, after the splitting of the atom , helped humanity go one step further. Of course, the fact that coffee , for example, continued to be served in a monstrous plastic cup was of little importance. What mattered was the paper straw . So this world-historical decision helped very effectively in creating an idyllic and heavenly environment . So effective was the measure that it was soon withdrawn , since in the end what remained was not a straw , but a pulp composed of paper, saliva and coffee …
Another historic or rather world-historical decision was the… sealing of the lids on plastic or paper packaging ( water, milk, soft drinks, etc. ). The excuse is that because the lids are small , they are not recyclable . And we had a loophole …
Of course, the fact that hanging lids can get in your eye or help you get wet didn’t concern anyone .
And as if all these decisions , which opened new horizons for humanity and lead it safely to the avenue of its destinies , were not enough, the icing on the cake came. What an icing. An oversized watermelon , of the American breed , measuring 2 by 3 meters , which was the new decision of the EU , which is truly shocking and confirms the need for the existence of the EU , so much so that if it did not exist, we would have to invent it.
The European Parliament therefore voted that ” trans women are women , as their gender identity , that is, their internal sense of self , is female , regardless of the sex they were given at birth .”
This identity is legally and socially recognized, with the European Parliament recently confirming that trans women are women . But what is “trans” ? “ Trans women are part of the trans community , which includes people who do not identify with their birth gender , including trans men , trans women and non-binary people .”
Now I won’t go into the process of explaining to you what “non-binary” means, because we’ll get to the point and I don’t want to.
However, and for the record, the Greek MEPs who voted in favor of the resolution , which is also a recommendation to the UN ( big things, that is ) are Manolis Kefalogiannis (New Democracy) , Sakis Arnaoutoglou (PASOK) and Maria Zacharias (Freedom Sailing) . They also voted to give these MEN access to areas dedicated to women’s safety . Especially for the first two , their parties should be happy for them.
The above MEPs voted in favor of the resolution in question , but those who were absent also backed down , along with their parties , who did not request a separate vote for the individual paragraph , even though they could have done so.
This is where, my friends , “Here the world burns and Europe combs its hair” goes…
