The parade of Skopje residents with the stolen flag of Vergina in Sofades, Karditsa, and the tolerance of the organizers, shows that some, within Greece, overreact to Skopje nationalism and the irredentist aspirations of our neighbors.

Did no one react to the disgrace in Sofades, Karditsa, where during this year’s Carnival celebrations, the self-proclaimed “Macedonians” of Skopje made a resounding, provocative and noisy presence?
Apparently with the permission of the organizers (which is also the Municipality of Sofades ), they were there. With their flag, which is a misprint of the Greek sun of Vergina , with their uniforms and their arrogance.
It seems that some, within Greece, over-love Skopje’s nationalism and the irredentist aspirations of our neighbors.
And we all know that in the historical past, certain scoundrels, traitors to Greece, divided the children of the atrocities of communist child abuse into “Greek children” and “Macedonian children” , because as stateless internationalists they wanted Greek Macedonia in the hands of others.
