The Greek Police in Thessaloniki have released the identity details and photographs of a 21-year-old foreigner from Afghanistan , who is accused of raping a minor and aggravated drug trafficking , following a relevant order from the competent Prosecution Authority.
The case, which has caused intense dismay, was revealed after a methodical investigation by the police authorities, bringing to light very serious acts of a criminal nature against a minor.
The case file against the Afghan was prepared by the Sub-Directorate for the Protection of Minors of the Thessaloniki Directorate for the Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes. According to official police data, in addition to the charge of rape, the arrested person faces charges for a particularly serious case of drug trafficking , which includes the possession, sale and distribution of prohibited substances . These acts were allegedly committed professionally and consistently by an adult, with the direct aim of inducing the use of drugs by a minor .
This is TARAKI Safiullah, son of Amanullah and Riza , born in 2003 in Afghanistan . The publication of his details and photograph aims to protect society as a whole , minors and vulnerable groups, as well as to assist the investigations of the Justice Department in identifying any other victims or witnesses who have fallen victim to similar criminal acts by the defendant.
