The wait for millions of gamers around the world reaches its climax today. Rockstar Games presents “Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look,” a new and extended look at the highly anticipated GTA VI , premiering first on Netflix .
The screening is scheduled for today, Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 3:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) , which is 10:00 PM Greek time . This is a special collaboration between Rockstar Games and Netflix, as the streaming platform gets the first screening of such a significant video game presentation.
Six hours exclusively on Netflix
Netflix subscribers will be the first to watch the new material, but the exclusivity will last for six hours .
At 9:00 PM ET , that is, at 04:00 AM in the morning on Friday, August 28 in Greece , “Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look” will also be released on the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel and on the official GTA VI website.
What are we expecting to see?
Rockstar is calling today’s presentation “An Extended Look,” which sets it apart from the two trailers that came before it. The company promises a more extensive look at GTA VI, but hasn’t revealed everything the presentation will include.
The focus is of course on the two protagonists, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos , as well as the return to the legendary Vice City , which is part of the much larger state of Leonida .
The story follows Jason and Lucia, who, after a robbery that doesn’t go according to plan, find themselves embroiled in a criminal conspiracy that spans the entire Leonida. To survive, they’ll need to rely on each other more than ever.

Grand Theft Auto VI is undoubtedly one of the biggest and most anticipated releases in the history of the video game industry.
Rockstar Games has set its release date for November 19, 2026 , with the game becoming available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S .
Until then, today’s presentation is expected to give players the best insight yet into what Rockstar has in store for the new era of Grand Theft Auto.
